Main duties of the job We are offering an exciting opportunity to help redefine the long-term provision of Breast Cancer services at UHS. We are recruiting a one-year fixed term post to work with clinical and administrative staff to deliver a strategy that supports immediate service transformation and long term benefits for all patients referred to the service. We are seeking an experienced team-player with advanced communication skills that has proven experience in delivering transformation projects within a clinical healthcare setting. Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what’s possible for the role and service. This role is based within a dynamic Cancer Centre team that have proven experience in service improvement. This role will be working alongside the Cancer Centre management and clinical Breast team based within the Women and newborn care group located in the Princess Anne Hospital. Please see attached job description and person specification for experience and skills needed Person specification Trust Values Essential criteria Patients first Always Improving Working Together Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience Essential criteria First degree/equivalent professional qualification/equivalent experience Leadership training Management training Training and experience to Masters’ or equivalent level/post graduate level study Project Management qualification / further training or demonstrates substantial level of project delivery experience Consolidated experience to demonstrate capability and capacity for management of health services at a senior level Demonstrable staff and resource management experience across a range of a variety of issues Able to facilitate and implement policy, guidelines and projects from initiation to completion Demonstrates experience of managing challenging problems by developing practical workable solutions to address them. Ability to communicate vision to staff and manage change effectively.
