Overview
Site Technician - Stafford Manor High School. Permanent, Full Time – 37 hours per week on a rota basis. Grade 3 - £24,796 (full year).
Responsibilities
* Maintain the school site and ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.
* Carry out non-specialist building maintenance work (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, decorating) within the reasonable capacity of a handyman role, with strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations.
* Check the operation of alarms and fire equipment; follow the water flushing routine; liaise with contractors; carry out maintenance checks and services; general maintenance and cleaning; and assist with portage and collection activities as required.
About You
* Enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated; able to work in a team, use initiative and deal with unexpected problems.
* Ability to work within a team and independently as needed.
* Hard-working, flexible with high standards and a “can do” attitude.
* Experience with non-specialist building maintenance tasks and adherence to health and safety regulations.
