Sales Administrator

Daventry

Competitive Salary

Our client is looking for a well organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support their sales team and ensure the smooth processing of customer orders. The role involves handling sales documentation, preparing quotations, updating customers on order progress, and maintaining a high standard of customer service at all times.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm. Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently

* Prepare and issue customer quotations in a timely manner

* Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates on delivery times and any changes

* Liaise with internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly

* Maintain and update customer records and sales data within internal systems

* Resolve customer queries and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience

Skills and Experience:

* Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role (preferred)

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

* Confident communicator with a professional telephone and email manner

* A proactive and customer-focused approach

* A knowledge of Microsoft Business Central would be an advantage but not essential

* Team player with the ability to work independently

* Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
