As a Senior Staff Nurse in our Ambulatory Care Unit, you'll provide clinical care to patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures, cardiac interventions, endoscopy, and some medical procedures. The post-holder supervises the team on shift, ensuring safe, high standards of care and customer service, optimising patient flow, and providing support to and deputising for the Unit Manager.
Hours are worked between 07:00 to 19:30, Monday to Saturday, with occasional bank holidays.

About us:
Our 12-space Ambulatory Care Unit provides care for patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures without overnight stays, across specialties including cardiology, general surgery, orthopaedics, and gynaecology. The hospital features 3 main theatres, a day theatre/endoscopy unit, a cardiac cath lab, a 29-bedded ward, and a busy outpatient department, supported by physiotherapy, pharmacy, and cardiac physiologist services. The unit operates 6 days a week, from 07:00 to approximately 20:30.
