Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career within the hospitality industry, supporting the smooth operation of our front of house operation within Applejacks restaurant and ensuring a memorable dining experience for all guests. Previous restaurant, culinary, or hotel experience is highly desirable, along with supervisory and team management skills. Working 40 Hours per week over 5 Days one day off during the weekend hours of work 9am till 5.30pm with some 8am shifts to cover the Restaurant Managers time off.
Duties
* Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of service and efficiency.
* Support the management team in supervising Front of house staff
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all areas of the restaurant.
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain excellent guest relations.
* Support training programmes for new staff members and ongoing development for existing team members.
* Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our brand values.
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality settings, including supervising teams.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Leadership qualities with a focus on motivating team members and fostering a positive work environment.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and guests alike.
