AG Hotels Group is seeking an experienced and confident receptionist to join our Lakeland Hotel based in Kendal. The ideal receptionist should be friendly and hospitable. We are looking for someone who puts our people at the heart of everything we do, is passionate for customer service and hospitality.
Candidates must be flexible to work on any day of the week and at varying shift times, including weekends and holidays, as per business requirements.
Job Responsibilities
1. Greet guests as they arrive, ensuring smooth check in and check out
2. Manage room reservations and ensure that all guest information is accurate and up-to-date
3. Process guest payments and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and secure
4. Respond to guest inquiries and requests for assistance in person and over phone
5. Report any health and safety issues/ maintenance issues to the relevant department
6. Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that all guest needs are met and exceeded
7. Assist in F&B and Housekeeping department as per business requirements
Pre-Requisites
1. Should have a background in Front office Hospitality
2. Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) preferably Rezlynx
3. Should be willing to multitask in other departments
4. Passion for the Hotel industry
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
6. Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
