Razorblue role:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our expanding team of tech professionals. Your role will involve generating new opportunities and clients by leveraging your network and expertise to foster growth. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Lead Generation & Management: Building strong prospect relationships, utilizing networks, targeting opportunities by location and sector, and collaborating with Marketing on outbound campaigns.
2. Sales Administration: Logging opportunities in the CRM, maintaining an accurate database, preparing proposals and contracts, and invoicing clients efficiently.
3. Technical Collaboration: Working with Solution Architects to develop tailored solutions and handing over secured projects to the Project Management team.
4. Event Participation: Representing the company at events, exhibitions, networking opportunities, and hosting prospects at the office to strengthen partnerships.
5. Reporting & Meetings: Preparing weekly activity reports, delivering presentations, and engaging in sales meetings.
This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, as you'll host prospects, attend partner meetings, and build industry connections. You must balance strategic business development with administrative tasks, including database management and weekly outbound activity reports.

* Proven IT background, preferably within a Microsoft Partner or Managed Service Provider
* Commercial awareness with sales experience
* Strong communication, presentation, and relationship skills
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Proactive and adaptable to evolving client needs
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Full clean UK Driving Licence
* Ability to understand technical product information
* Effective persuasion, influence, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
* Fluent English communication skills for explaining complex technical issues
