The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Faversham from Easter until the end of the academic year. This is a long-term role with full teaching responsibilities, ideal for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class and play a key role in supporting pupils through an important stage of their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 5.
Take full class teacher responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, and reporting.
Prepare and write end-of-term reports.
Attend and contribute to parents' evenings.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
Participate in relevant school meetings and professional development.Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils.
