A well-established entertainment organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal function.

Based in the East Midlands (hybrid working), this role offers close exposure to the business and would suit a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys variety, stakeholder interaction, and practical problem-solving across a broad legal remit.

The Role:
\n\n
\n\t
* Work closely with commercial, marketing, and operational teams on a wide range of business activities
\n\t
* Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including sponsorship, licensing, media, and supplier contracts
\n\t
* Maintain and evolve standard contract templates, terms, and internal legal documentation
\n\t
* Advise on intellectual property matters, including brand usage and licensing arrangements
\n\t
* Act as a key point of contact for data protection and privacy matters, supporting compliance and risk management
\n\t
* Provide input on regulatory, governance, and dispute-related issues
\n\t
* Coordinate and manage external legal advisors as required
\n

Ideal Candidate:

\n\t
1. Qualified lawyer with 1+ PQE in commercial legal work
\n\t
2. Experience advising on data protection and privacy matters
\n\t
3. Commercial, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
