Partner – Building Surveying

Lead a Growing Team within a national multidisciplinary that is adding new service lines and expanding into new sectors!
A senior opportunity has arisen for an experienced Salaried Partner – Building Surveyor to take a leading role within a well‑established multidisciplinary consultancy in Liverpool.
Following a successful 2025, which saw the business win multiple sought after awards, expand into new sectors and introduce additional service lines, the Liverpool office is entering an exciting period of investment offering the chance to build and develop an additional Building Surveying team while shaping the next phase of regional growth.
You’ll join a close‑knit, collaborative environment with a strong presence across public buildings and estates, residential and housing, education, retail, healthcare, commercial, manufacturing, and defence markets. Key Responsibilities
* Lead, grow, and shape a Building Surveying team within the Liverpool office
* Drive business development, client engagement, and long‑term relationship management
* Support expansion into emerging sectors and help embed newly introduced service lines
* Prepare and deliver business plans, financial forecasts, and growth strategies
* Oversee recruitment, team structure, and resource planning
* Deliver high‑quality professional and project‑based Building Surveying services
* Provide technical leadership across surveys, defect analysis, dilapidations, project delivery, and contract administration
* Mentor and develop junior surveyors, ensuring strong technical and professional progression
* Conduct technical reviews to maintain quality, compliance, and consistency across all outputs
* Represent the consultancy at senior‑level meetings, client presentations, and industry events
Skills & Experience Required
* MRICS with substantial post‑qualification experience
* Strong consultancy background, ideally within the Northwest marketplace
* Commercially minded with a proven ability to win work and develop client relationships.
* Skilled in leading, motivating, and organising a team
* Broad technical Building Surveying expertise across professional and project services
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce clear, robust reports and recommendations
