Pay Rate: £12.62 an hour (guaranteed rate rise on 01/03/26)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 13:30, 37.5 hours per week

About the Quality Assistant Role
The Quality Assistant will provide administrative and documentation support to the Quality team, ensuring all records, logs and controlled documents are accurate, compliant and audit ready. Youll work closely with quality, engineering and operational teams to maintain high standards across the site.
Quality Assistant Key Responsibilities
Maintain controlled documents, ensuring correct version control, traceability and timely distribution
Support the upkeep of quality records, logs, trackers and registers (NCRs, training records, audit files, KPIs)
Assist with preparation for internal and external audits, including document collation and file checks
Organise digital and paper filing systems to ensure information is structured, accessible and compliant
Provide administrative support to quality and operational teams, including scheduling, minutes and data entry
Assist with NCR logging, tracking and follow up actions
Support communication of quality information such as updated procedures, forms, toolbox talk materials and notices
Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the quality function
Quality Assistant Essential Skills & Experience:
Administration experience in a high standard or regulated industry such as construction, automotive, rail, aerospace or GMP
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and digital document platforms
Quality Assistant Desirable Skills & Experience:
Experience working with controlled documents or structured filing systems
Experience supporting quality, engineering or manufacturing teams
Exposure to QMS processes, audits or compliance activities
Familiarity with NCRs, training records or KPI reporting
