Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be partnering with our client to appoint an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Legal Bookkeeper to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with experience in a legal or professional services environment who enjoys working autonomously, values accuracy, and thrives in a supportive, collaborative setting. The Role Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring full compliance with the Law Society and Solicitors Accounts Regulations.
This is a varied and rewarding position offering the opportunity to contribute to a respected, client-focused firm with an excellent reputation. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office accounting transactions. Process bank reconciliations and payments with a high degree of accuracy.
Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end procedures. Maintain compliance with the Law Society and Solicitors Accounts Regulations. Liaise with solicitors and administrative staff to support smooth financial operations.
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries as required. Support process improvement within the finance function. Skills & Experience Previous bookkeeping experience within a legal or professional services environment.
