About the Role
To act as a strategic partner to the Director of Solutions, supporting all aspects of business development and project delivery. The incumbent will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, shaping project scopes, and ensuring successful execution of initiatives that align with client objectives and organisational goals.
Responsibilities
* Lead efforts to identify, qualify, and secure new project opportunities across Pulse’s core sectors.
* Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with clients, serving as their consistent day-to-day contact point.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to develop project frameworks, craft compelling proposals, and optimise pricing strategies.
* Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and desired outcomes.
* Partner closely with Pulse Recruit to source and mobilise the right expertise for each engagement.
* Monitor project financials, ensuring profitability and adherence to invoicing schedules.
* Promote Pulse Solutions’ brand positioning within the marketplace, positioning us as a trusted consultancy partner.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience in consulting, solutions delivery, or project management within technology or business transformation.
* Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to convert opportunities into successful projects.
* Hands-on management experience with a focus on project execution and delivery oversight.
* Thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments with a proactive approach.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients.
* Knowledge of higher education, charitable, or public sector landscapes (desirable but not essential).
Pay range and compensation package
* Competitive salary plus uncapped commission, targeting £150k+ (OTE).
* Commission structure based on net margin from secured and delivered projects, aligned with Pulse Solutions’ tiered scheme.
* Flexible working arrangements with access to London office.
