This role will involve primarily supporting Sharp multifunction devices, delivering technical support, maintenance, and installations for our customers.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills to join a growing business within the office technology sector.Candidate RequirementsLocated within an area that allows effective coverage of customer networkPrevious experience working with Sharp, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, or Riso equipment would be beneficial, although manufacturer training can be provided where necessaryGood IT and networking knowledge, including experience with: Installing and setting up print drivers on PCs and server environmentsConfiguring scan-to-email and scan-to-folder featuresFamiliarity with print management software such as PaperCut or MyQ would be an advantage but is not essentialA positive approach and excellent communication and customer service skillsStrong planning and organisational abilities with the confidence to manage workload independentlyAbility to work effectively within a team while maintaining a professional approach with customersFull UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty pointsPrepared to complete and maintain an Enhanced DBS checkMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesAttend and respond to customer service requests efficiently, ensuring service targets, including a four-hour response objective, are achievedInstall, set up, and commission new devices at customer premisesKeep regular communication with the office regarding availability and provide end-of-day updatesEnsure punctual attendance at the first scheduled customer appointment by 9:00am each dayPresent a professional image and provide a high standard of customer care at all timesRecord and monitor parts usage accurately to support manufacturer warranty proceduresProvide assistance in the workshop when needed and help maintain a clean, tidy, and secure working environmentEnsure company vehicle stock levels are maintained with appropriate spare parts and consumablesAttend training sessions delivered by manufacturers and suppliers as requiredSupport the business with any additional tasks relevant to the role when neededMaintain an Enhanced DBS check in accordance with company procedures, renewing every three yearsTPBN1_UKTJ
