Responsibilities
* Serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees.
* Provide continuous 24/7 coverage in line with a schedule agreed with our client.
* Work in your base custody suite and across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
* Deliver high‑quality care under pressure and manage diverse clinical situations effectively.
Requirements
* RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration – minimum 2 years post‑qualification (Band 5 at least).
* Paramedic – minimum 2 years post‑qualification.
* Driving licence required.
* RTW in the UK, lived in the UK with a British passport or ILR for 3 years and no gaps out of country longer than 3 months.
* All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting.
Compensation & Working Hours
* Salary £41,000 per year.
* £1,000 bonus after 12 months of service.
* Average estimated overtime £3,500 per annum.
* Full‑time fixed shift rota – 4 shifts on, 4 days off: 06:45 to 19:00 for 2‑day shifts, followed by 2‑night shifts 18:45 to 07:00. Rolling rota available two years in advance.
* Part‑time or “bank” contract options exist but all employees are required to work full shifts; part‑time staff must still cover some night shifts.
* NMC/HCPC registration paid by the employer.
