About The Role An opportunity has arisen to join the team as a maintenance fitter within the Eastern region. You will support the operational team by carrying out Fixed plant maintenance, Mobile plant maintenance and general site maintenance. Reporting to the Area Supervisor you will be a valued member of the team contributing to the safe and efficient running of sites. About Your Role To carry out preventative maintenance inspections on Fixed plant and program in works alongside the site supervisors. To maintain sufficient critical spares stocks on sites to allow efficient repairs when required. To maintain a tidy work area around the plant and workshop areas. To carry out repairs and improvements in the area as required. To work in line with business procedures at all times. To travel between sites as required and support the operational team. A flexible individual with a can do attitude. An individual with a sound understanding of mechanical processes. A safety conscious individual who puts their own and others safety first. An individual with experience using hand tools and hot works equipment or be willing to further their knowledge on this.
