About the role
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Reflection Room Manager to join a secondary school pastoral team in Whiston, and support the provision of an effective and efficient pastoral service to the school and its students and staff.
Reflection Room Manager
Location: Whiston, L35
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: Paid to scale
Responsibilities
Supervision: Supervising students, ensuring they complete assigned work
Maintain behaviour standards:Insist on high standards of cooperation, behaviour, and school uniform, and take necessary action when standards are not met.
Support reflection:Guide students to reflect on their behaviour and develop strategies to avoid repeating past actions.
Encouraging Inclusion: Ensuring students feel valued and supported
Liaise with staff:Communicate with teachers, year heads, and other staff about student needs, behaviour, and progress.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children.
Previous experience as a Reflection Room Manager or similar role
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training will be provided).
Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
Ability to provide a minimum of two professional references/to cover the last 24 months workedWhy Join Prospero Teaching?
