About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery, a minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, and an understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.
We aim to provide an excellent onboarding experience, ensuring a quick transition from job offer to start date.
About You
You will be organized to meet service times, thrive on autonomy to plan and prioritize, and have a knack for following recipes precisely. You should be passionate about food and understand the importance of good quality, home-cooked meals for our Residents. Additionally, communication with Residents and colleagues should be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training, with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed.
