Description: Life Works, located in Woking, Surrey, is a highly respected private rehabilitation centre specializing in addiction and eating disorder treatment. We treat up to 18 low risk private patients in a Georgian house surrounded by gardens. Easily accessible from the A3, M25, and Woking Train station. Our evidence-based program combines group and individual therapies, including experiential elements, to support personal recovery journeys.
Role: Seeking a dedicated Employed Consultant Psychiatrist to join Priory Life Works. The candidate should have extensive experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of eating disorders across diverse populations. The role involves clinical expertise, guidance, and support to clients, families, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
* Assess and treat outpatient populations.
* Oversee inpatient care, conduct weekly reviews and ward rounds.
* Manage a caseload of three inpatients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including therapists, dieticians, nurses, and an advanced nurse practitioner.
* Participate in quality improvement and governance activities.
* Expand practice in line with Priory standards.
* Network with colleagues and referral sources.
* Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements.
