Confident with technical problem‑solving? We are looking for a Vehicle Customer Support Advisor to join our clients wonderful Birchwood team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong understanding of car mechanics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional service. About the Role As a Technical Incident Manager, you'll take responsibility for managing mechanical breakdown claims in line with company procedures and policy terms. Your mission is to assess incoming claims, provide accurate authorisations or rejections, and ensure a seamless customer and repairer experience. Key Responsibilities Assess and process warranty claims received via online systems and email. Authorise or reject claims in line with policy terms Ensure all claim outcomes and notes are accurately recorded. Maintain administrative accuracy (vehicle/beneficiary information etc.). Provide the highest level of service to customers, dealers, and repairers. Manage technical relationships with main dealer workshops and repairers. Support claims team and other departments where needed. Participate in continuous improvement of claims processes. Encourage positivity and teamwork within the department. Working Hours Rotating monthly: 8am-4pm 9am-5pm 1‑hour unpaid lunch break 10-minute morning & afternoon breaks Skills & Requirements Technical Skills Strong general knowledge of motor vehicles and car parts. General PC skills and experience with MS Office. In‑depth knowledge of UK automotive warranty products (training provided). Soft Skills Team player with a positive attitude. Strong communication and empathy with customers. Reliability, accountability, and integrity. Initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
