We’re looking for someone who’s caring, fun, and full of positive energy to join our team. Whether you're seeking part-time (20 hours) or full-time (37.5 hours), we’ll work with you to find a pattern that fits your life.
You’ll be supporting four fantastic individuals aged 2535 in their own home people who love being active, getting out and about, and sharing laughter and connection. Every day brings something new, and the house is always full of life.
What might your day look like?
You’d be supporting each person to do the things that matter to them, such as:
Going shopping at the weekend
Enjoying local day trips and adventures
Heading to the cinema or out for a bite to eat
Bowling and other favourite activities
Staying connected with family and friends
Watching Shrewsbury Football team
You'll also help with everyday things like cooking, cleaning, gardening, and taking medication offering the right encouragement so they can do as much as possible themselves.

About you
Experience isn’t always necessary. If you have the right attitude, good customer service skills, share our values and are willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit. We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
You will need to hold a full UK driving licence (manual or automatic.)

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
