The Role
Reporting to the Associate Director – Risk & DI, you will play a key role in ensuring effective risk management processes are embedded and maintained across Almac Clinical Services. You will support management review through oversight of the Risk Register, provide subject matter expertise in Data Integrity, and contribute to continuous improvement, compliance, and education activities across the organisation. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders, Quality teams, and operational departments, with opportunities to support audits and inspections.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a Risk Management and Data Integrity Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance, review, and feedback on risk assessments
* Perform routine data integrity reviews and trend DI non‑conformances and near misses
* Develop and improve risk management and DI processes, tools, and data flows
* Co‑ordinate risk reporting and escalates key issues or trends to senior leadership
* Develop and deliver education and training materials to promote risk awareness and DI compliance
* Maintain, review, and update the Clinical Services Risk Register in line with the management review cycle
* Engage with risk owners and management teams to assess risk status, trends, and emerging issues
* Support customer audits, inspections, and visits, presenting Almac’s risk management principles and DI strategy
* Act as Deputy for the AD – Risk & DI, as required
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) or substantial experience working in a GxP environment
* Knowledge or experience of risk management processes within the Pharmaceutic Industry or Health Care setting
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
* Strong attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset
Desirable
* Data Integrity training or experience
* Experience participating in or performing risk assessments
Key Skills & Competencies
* Confident communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
* Competent with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
* Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused
