Do you have experience managing a despatch department
My client are one of the largest international independent manufacturers of aerospace detailed parts and is recruiting for a Despatch Operator who as knowledge of Export.
Purpose of role and key Responsibilities:
* A background in running a dispatch department would be highly advantageous.
* Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts
* knowledge of export requirements to Europe and USA and to chase and track deliveries an advantage
* Works well in a high-pressure environment
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to build a strong team with a good working relationship with other departments
* Strong administration, organisation, and IT skills
* Responsible for all delivery paperwork, PODs including tracking of parts
* Responsible for undertaking all export shipments, including communications with couriers
* Ensure all KPIs, targets and safety objectives are being met or exceeded in department
