Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong, resilient and supportive Behaviour Mentor to work with pupils who display some challenging behaviour and need tailored 1 to 1 support. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most.
About the Role:
* Work on a 1 to 1 basis with pupils who present with a range of behavioural and emotional needs.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to help them regulate their emotions and behaviour.
* Support pupils with a range of additional needs, which may include ADHD, Autism, Social, Emotional, Mental Health & Anxiety.
* Promote positive behaviour and help pupils to re-engage with their learning in a safe and structured environment.
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour.
* Strong resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring but firm approach with the ability to set clear boundaries.
* A valid DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Relevant training in behaviour management, Team Teach, or similar (desirable but not essential).
