Circa £450-£500 per day
An Edinburgh Financial Services/FinTech organisation is currently looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join their team on a Contract basis. Supporting a large/complex programme of work, the primary focus of the roles will involve managing & optimising their cloud infrastructure in AWS and to be successful, previous technical knowledge & experience should include:
* Previous & proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer (AWS DevOps Engineer Certified)
* Deep expertise with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS.
* Containerisation and Orchestration with K8s, EKS and Docker
* Kubernetes package management with Helm Charts
* Service Mesh with Linkerd
* Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
* CI/CD with Azure DevOps
* Scripting & Automation with Bash, Python, Go and PowerShell
* Configuration Management with Ansible
* Version Control & Collaboration with Azure DevOps
* Monitoring & Logging with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace
* Networking & Security with VPC, Nginx, HAProxy, AWS CloudFront, AWS ALB/NLB, AWS WAF & Shield and SIEM tools
* Databases with DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, SQL
