Job overview
We are looking for a fulltime level 3 qualified practitioner to join our team who is passionate and committed to providing excellent experiences and learning opportunities to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education. We offer above industry standard salary with increments. You would start on up to 35 days holiday per year (including Bank holidays).
To provide a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
To maintain the health and well-being of children in our care.
To actively contribute to monitoring and recording children's development and sharing information with other professionals both internally and externally.
Main duties of the job
* Adhere to OFSTED Standards & Regulations.
* Ensure compliance with child protection procedures.
* Take the lead in the absence of the Room Leader.
* Provide challenging and quality care and education.
* Follow nursery and Trust policies and procedures.
* Maintain the health and safety of children, carrying out risk assessments when required.

Person specification
Qualifications
* NNEB / BTEC / NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education or equivalent.
* GCSE English grade C or equivalent.
* Current 12-hour paediatric First Aid certification.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Understanding of the Childcare Act 2009 requirements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and processes.
* Familiarity with Ofsted standards and regulations.
* Relevant childcare experience.
Experience
* Work placement within a childcare setting.
* Relevant childcare work experience.
* Experience working with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Personal Attributes
* Ability to organize a stimulating and creative day.
* Effective team player.
* Caring and conscientious approach to children's individual needs.
* Creative mindset.
