SEN Secondary Teacher, Eastbourne
Rate: £120+ / day (or equivalent salary)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Location: SEN secondary school in Eastbourne
Responsibilities:
* Teach core or specialist subjects to pupils with SEN (could include ASC, SEMH, cognition & learning)
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons, according to pupils’ needs and EHCPs
* Contribute to individual provision mapping, behaviour plans, and risk assessments
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, preparing reports for parents and multi-agency teams
* Support transition planning, preparing students for post-secondary pathways
* Work within a multidisciplinary team (SENCO, therapists, support staff)
* Maintain safeguarding protocols and contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment
Requirements / Advantages:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Driving licence beneficial (though not essential for all local roles)
* Enhanced Child-Only DBS required or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
