Rapier Employment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers for an exciting opportunity based in Harlow. This is a fantastic chance to secure consistent, long-term, well-paid work with a leading blue-chip logistics provider.
Whether you’re experienced or newly qualified, full training and a paid coaching week are provided to set you up for success.
What You’ll Earn
1. £ per hour (Days: 04:00–22:00)
2. £ per hour (Nights: 22:00–04:00)
3. £1,completion bonus (Terms apply)
4. PAYE – holiday pay accrued separately
Your Working Pattern
Enjoy a structured, predictable rota with no Sunday working:
Fixed 3-week rolling rota:
5. Week 1: Monday – Thursday
6. Week 2: Wednesday – Saturday
7. Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
8. An option for more days is available.
9. Start times: 04:00–05:00
10. Shift length: 9–13 hours
11. Guaranteed minimum 8 hours pay per shift
12. Pre-booked holidays (up to 2 weeks) or agreed leave available
The Role
13. Multi-drop deliveries (typically 6–8 drops per shift)
14. Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods
15. Using cages and tail lifts (electric pallet truck training provided)
16. Delivering to convenience stores on planned routes
17. Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
18. Providing professional and friendly customer service
What We’re Looking For
19. Valid HGV Class 1 and 2 (Category C / C+E) licence
20. Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
21. Maximum 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
22. Reliable, professional, and customer-focused attitude
23. Good communication and time-management skills
24. Flexibility to work the rota
