Procurement Category Manager – Digital & Technology (D&T) - 12 month FTC
We are recruiting an experienced Digital & Technology Procurement Category Manager to deliver end‑to‑end source‑to‑contract activity across a complex D&T portfolio. This role partners closely with senior Digital, Data, Technology, Finance and Legal stakeholders, supporting critical investment decisions through robust commercial leadership.
This is not a generalist procurement role. Proven Digital & Technology procurement experience is essential.
Location - London (3 days per week in the office)
Salary - up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering value across defined Digital & Technology categories through structured sourcing, commercial analysis, negotiation and contract development. You’ll lead sourcing activity, contribute to category strategy, and ensure all outcomes align to governance, risk and commercial frameworks.
What You Will Be Doing
* Leading end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Contract activity across Digital, Data and Technology categories
* Designing sourcing strategies, running competitive tenders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating commercials and awarding contracts
* Partnering with senior D&T stakeholders to support technology investment decisions
* Contributing to and executing category plans aligned to wider D&T priorities
* Delivering commercial value and embedding benefits into financial planning and budgets
* Managing contract approval processes, governance and documentation to a high standard
* Identifying and managing risk within technology supply chains, escalating where required
* Working closely with Finance and Legal to ensure compliant, value‑driven outcomes
* Building strong supplier relationships and driving performance improvement and innovation
Essential Skillset
You must be able to clearly demonstrate:
* Hands‑on procurement experience within Digital & Technology categories
* (e.g. SaaS, software, platforms, digital services, data, IT services, cloud or similar)
* Proven end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Contract ownership
* (strategy → tender → negotiation → contract award)
* Strong commercial and negotiation capability within technology contracts
* Experience working within structured procurement governance and approval frameworks
* Ability to influence and partner confidently with senior technology and business stakeholders
* Strong analytical mindset, able to assess commercial risk, value and long‑term impact
* Experience contributing to category strategy, not just running isolated tenders
