What you will do:
* Conduct assessments for children and their families to ensure their safety and well-being.
* Provide expert advice on child protection and safeguarding matters.
* Engage in direct, impactful work with children to understand their needs and circumstances.
* Collaborate closely with families and external agencies to develop robust support plans.
Preferred experience and skills:
* Prior experience within a Children’s assessment team.
* In-depth knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.
* Strong capability for direct, empathetic work with children.
* A valid Social Work England qualification with at least three years of post-qualified experience.
