Your new role
Asmunity Fundraising Executive, you will play a key role in maximising ie and raising awareness across your assigned geographical area. Working within a small, collaborative fundraising team, you will develop strong, long‑lasting relationships with supporters,munity groups, businesses, and volunteers.Your role will involve contributing to ambitious annual ie targets, supporting a range of campaigns and events, and ensuring exceptional supporter care. You will help build the organisation’s profile locally, engage new fundraising audiences, and act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the charity at all times.Day‑to‑day, you will:
1. Growmunity and corporate support through proactive relationship development
2. Provide guidance and support to fundraisers, ensuring activity is safe,pliant and maximised
3. Attend and assist with fundraising events across the region
4. Work closely with volunteers and internal colleagues to ensure activity is coordinated and effective.
5. Maintain accurate financial and supporter records
6. Contribute to PR and local media engagement to enhance visibility
What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
7. A third‑level qualification (or equivalent Level 3 Diploma / Foundation Degree)
8. At least one year’s experience in fundraising or a role where you have worked towards targets and driven activity in line with organisational goals
9. Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
10. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills, with confidence in engaging with people at all levels, including public speaking
11. Good IT skills, including MS Office and social media platforms
12. A proven team player with a flexible approach to work
13. A full driving licence, business insurance, and access to suitable transport
Desirable:
14. Two or more years’ experience in fundraising or account management
15. Experience working withmunity groups, clubs, or voluntary organisations
16. Exposure to volunteer coordination or public relations activity
