The Business Technology practice is a leading CIO & CTO advisory and technology innovation team in the UK and Europe. We deliver tangible outcomes across business and IT environments, working with major FTSE 100 and government clients to help them achieve strategic goals while leveraging technology as a key growth driver.
Your Role
Our IT Strategy & Performance team is one of the fastest‑growing teams in the Business Technology practice. Structured across three core disciplines – Technology Strategy, IT Cost & Value, and IT Mergers & Acquisitions – we are looking for Senior and Managing Consultant level candidates with breadth of experience that enables delivery across all three. Ideally, candidates will have expertise in Technology Strategy and IT Cost & Value, with IT M&A experience a plus.
Responsibilities
* Lead client delivery, workstreams and project teams in complex technology engagements including Technology Strategy & Transformation and technology cost transformation.
* Drive cultural and organisational change to align IT and business stakeholders around strategy, cost and value objectives, and advise on the strategic role of technology within organisations.
* Translate complex technical findings into actionable commercial insights and deliverable strategies focused on client value.
* Contribute to the development of our offerings and support capability building within the IT Performance team, helping grow our offerings across market units and develop winning proposals.
* Provide leadership on emerging technologies and digital capabilities – AI, advanced analytics, cybersecurity and cloud‑native architectures – evaluating scalability, interoperability and alignment with client long‑term strategy.
Additional Opportunities
* Business Development – lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches and client hosting at events.
* Internal Contribution – campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.

Qualifications
* Consulting experience (4+ years) across Technology Strategy and/or IT Cost & Value.
* Strong track record delivering Digital Strategy & Transformation and/or technology cost transformation projects.
* Technical and strategic expertise across Technology Strategy, Target Operating Model Design, Transformation Roadmapping, Business‑IT Alignment, IT Financial Management, Total Cost of Ownership, Application Portfolio Rationalisation, Benchmarking and Optimisation.
* Experience managing teams/workstreams in complex delivery environments and building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
* Ability to identify real‑world application of technology to drive value from technology investments.
Desirable Experience
* Currently working in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background, possibly within an in‑house strategy function.
* Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and enlist support from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
* Experience supporting proposition building/development and growth.
* Business development – utilizing organisation’s pre‑existing relationships and personal network to generate revenue.
