Key Responsibilities.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients across a range of industries.
• Provide expert advice on insurance products including property, liability, motor fleet, professional indemnity, and more.
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries with accuracy and efficiency.
• Negotiate terms with insurers to secure competitive and comprehensive cover for clients.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive service.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant insurance solutions.
• Ensure all documentation, compliance requirements, and client records are maintained to a high standard.
• Collaborate with colleagues across broking, claims, and account management teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
About You.
• Experience in commercial insurance broking or underwriting (essential).
• Strong understanding of UK commercial insurance products and market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Confident in managing client relationships and providing clear, professional advice.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Cert CII qualification preferred (or working towards it).
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
