An opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing Special Projects Division based out of Chesterfield, delivering projects across the Midlands and wider regions.

The Opportunity
You will support the commercial delivery of projects valued between £10m - £30m across:
* Distribution centre developments
* MOD schemes
* Education sector projects
Projects are a mix of new build construction and fit‑out, providing a varied and technically engaging workload.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account
* Support subcontract procurement, administration, and valuations
* Contribute to cost reporting, CVRs, and forecasting
* Assist in managing variations, change control, and final accounts
* Work closely with site and project teams to support successful delivery
* Build relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
* Support senior commercial staff in delivering project targets
About You
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
* Experience working on projects in the £5m+ to £10m+ range (or exposure to larger schemes)
* Background in sectors such as industrial, commercial, or public sector projects is beneficial
* Strong numerical and commercial awareness
* Eagerness to develop and progress within a supportive team
* Good communication and organisational skills
Salary & Package
* £60,000 - £65,000 basic salary
* Car allowance
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
