Job Description
3. Manage and monitor credit control processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
4. Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from clients.
5. Prepare and review credit reports to assess risk and approve credit limits.
6. Liaise with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
7. Maintain accurate records of client accounts and payment histories.
8. Handle escalated queries related to credit and payment issues professionally.
9. Prepare regular reports on credit performance for senior management.
10. Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Credit Controller should have:
11. Previous experience in credit control or a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
13. Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
14. Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
15. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
16. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
