Morson Vital currently have a really exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor in the Glasgowarea. This is a permanent position with one of our largest Rail clients.
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Glasgow
Job Type: Permanent with excellent benefits
Salary: £52-£71k per annum
Responsibilities:
Prepare and produce monthly accounting, costing, contract, management, and financial reports.
Monitor, analyse, and report on bills of quantities, specifications, and contractual implications for both ongoing and new projects.
Liaise with clients to provide accurate costing information, managing and highlighting any cost or specification variations.
Maintain client relationships by supporting business development and follow-up activities, including the preparation of quotations for minor works.
Support the Contracts Manager in preparing tender enquiries and responses, and assist in determining the companys pricing and charging structures.
About You:
Bring proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) within a rail contracting environment.
Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction.
