Finance Manager - East London - 4* Hotel - Global Brand - Circa £34-35K + Excellent Corporate Benefits
I am looking for a detail oriented and commercially aware Finance Manager to join the leadership team of this 200bed, full service, 4* hotel in East London, part of a global hotel brand.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the hotel, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective management of transactional finance processes. You will work closely with the General Manager and Heads of Department to support performance and drive profitability.
Key Duties
Manage daily finance operations and lead a team of 2 support staff
Ensure accurate month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with brand standards
Oversee payroll coordination and cash management
Support budgeting and forecasting processes
Monitor debtor levels and supplier payments
Assist departmental managers with financial analysis and cost control
Liaise with external auditors and head office finance teams
About You
Previous experience within a hotel finance department
Background in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable within hospitality
Formal accounting qualification not essential; strong practical experience required
Good understanding of hotel financial systems and controls
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
