Sign Fitter I am working with a well-established signage company based in County Durham that is currently seeking an experienced Sign Fitter to join its growing team. With a reputation for delivering award-winning signage solutions nationwide, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual seeking a permanent role with regular overtime and excellent benefits. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a broad range of illuminated and non-illuminated signage, including vinyl wall and window graphics, at commercial and retail sites across the UK. The role will also involve conducting site surveys and working at height when required. Key Responsibilities: Nationwide installation of signage Reading and interpreting signage drawings with a high attention to detail Conducting site surveys and producing accurate reports Adhering to strict health and safety procedures, particularly when working within the transport and rail sectors Managing and training a fitters mate, working effectively as a two-person team Maintaining a clean and presentable company vehicle Requirements: Proven experience in sign fitting and installation Proficient in the use of sign-fitting tools and equipment Comfortable working independently and in a team environment Clean UK driving licence (essential) Knowledge and experience with RAMS and site-specific H&S regulations IPAF, PASMA & CSCS Cards (preferred) Salary & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate: £15£16.50 per hour (DOE) Permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday) with regular overtime available paid time and a half Company pension scheme Full use of a company van (for work purposes) On-site parking If you're an experienced Sign Fitter looking to take the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you.
