SEN Teaching Assistant - BL6 Area
Location: BL6 (Bolton area)
Pay: Up to £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time/ Temporary/ Long term
Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming and inclusive school based in the BL6 area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners who require additional support to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils with emotional, behavioural, and social development
Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence in the classroom
Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred)
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A passion for supporting children's learning and development
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential
