We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our growing software team and work as part of our dynamic, multi-disciplinary R&D department.
The role
As Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for writing and executing automated verification for digital applications targeting web and native applications across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, as well as automated integration test scripts for embedded devices.
Key duties:
* Contributing to the design, creation, execution, and documentation of software testing activities across multiple software projects and technology stacks.
* Executing testing strategies throughout the Software Development Lifecycle
* Documenting the processes required to comply with the relevant medical device standards for verification and validation.
* Working within a modern Devops environment you will follow the processes and workflows setup by the team, ensuring a secure and efficient development process is adhered to. This involves but is not limited to Planning, Development, Source Control, Test Case Reviews, CI/CD,Testing and Release
What are we looking for?
Key skills
* Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
* Proficiency in manual and automated software testing
* Test planning, design, execution, and reporting experience.
* Familiarity with modern testing tools and techniques – e, g, TDD, BDD, automation frameworks
* Experience in Testing of IoT connected devices and mobile applications utilising BLE and Internet connectivity.
* TestComplete UI automation test framework experience (Desirable)
