We're working with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and construction projects across the UK. Due to sustained growth and a strong order book in the central belt, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major development in Edinburgh. As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of civil engineering and groundworks projects. You'll lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are completed to programme and quality standards. Some other duties within this role include, but are not limited to: * Lead all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover. * Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure performance against programme and budget. * Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. * Oversee project planning, cost control, and progress reporting. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. To be considered for this position applicants must be able to demonstrate: * Proven experience as a Project Manager (or Senior Site Manager ready to step up) in civil engineering, groundworks, or concrete frame projects. * Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Excellent commercial awareness and understanding of project financials. * Knowledge of reinforced concrete, drainage, infrastructure, or structural packages. * SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications essential.
