The Cleaning Operative is tasked with delivering an efficient and high-quality cleaning service to maintain impeccable standards within the facility. Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and ensuring removal of smudges and cleanliness across windows, doors, and walls in and around the premises. They will also be responsible for cleaning the Surgical Accessory Assembly Room (SAAR) and clean room which require cleaning standards to be maintained in line with facility operating requirements and standards. Days of work are Monday to Friday inclusive, working 9am - 3.30pm daily. Key tasks for the position holder: Clean, stock, and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, skirting boards, desking, meeting rooms, spot wall cleaning, restroom cleaning, emptying bins, etc.) Clean the SAAR and clean room to meet facility operating requirements. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. Highlight stock levels and maintain supply rooms. Liaise with all departments Report any hygiene problems or incidents. Comply with all health and safety & fire regulations. Key skills, behaviours, competency and experience required: Proactive. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets. Able to work within set timeframes and meet deadlines. Attention to detail. Good people and communication skills.
