This role supports a collaborative and integrated approach to community safety across Sandwell by assisting the Community Safety Team Manager in delivering key projects and workstreams.
It contributes to the delivery of the Safer Sandwell Police & Partnership Board's (SSPPB) priorities and outcomes, particularly in reducing crime and disorder, through the implementation of a range of community safety initiatives.
The postholder will work closely with partners across Sandwell to help coordinate responses to anti-social behaviour (ASB), crime, violence, and exploitation.
Key responsibilities include supporting the development and monitoring of joined-up action plans and activities, ensuring regular progress reviews, and facilitating effective engagement with local communities and SSPPB partners to achieve positive outcomes.
