Job Description
3. Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
4. Drive financial strategy and provide commercial insight to support the growth agenda
5. Support and influence leadership on investment, scaling, and operational decisions
6. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
7. Analyse financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
8. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise financial processes and controls.
10. Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
11. Oversee transactional finance, payroll, bookkeeping
12. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
13. Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
14. A strong background in accounting and finance, with relevant qualifications.
15. Proven experience in financial management within the business services industry.
16. Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
17. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
18. Confident, influential, and commercially minded
19. Hands-on, pragmatic, and ready to build from the ground up
20. Experienced in growth environments, ideally having taken a business through increasing structure, maturity, or agility initiatives
21. Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with day‑to‑day operational delivery
22. A natural leader who enjoys mentoring junior talent
23. Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA )
