Main Purpose of Job We are seeking a proactive and highly organised PA/Admin Assistant to support the Business Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department by providing administrative support to the Director of Business Services and assisting with coordination across key business functions. Key Accountabilities Provide high-quality administrative support to the Director of Business Services. Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments across internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and format documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence to a professional standard. Organise meetings, including room bookings, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions. Support the coordination of projects, ensuring deadlines are tracked and met. Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and databases in line with company standards. Handle incoming communications (emails, calls, post), prioritising and responding as appropriate. Process expenses, purchase orders, and invoices in a timely manner. Arrange travel and accommodation when required. Support team-wide administration. Person Specification Experience Proven experience in an administrative or PA role, ideally within a business services, corporate, or professional services environment. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential or sensitive information. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Experience supporting senior leaders or multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of office and business systems, including document management tools and CRM platforms.
