We are the drivers of change.#LI-HybridThis is the jobWe are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a number of strategic, commercially significant projects across Transformation. The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of Enterprise-wide projects, ensuring they are implemented on time, within budget and to the AA’s agreed governance framework. The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight for the project(s) working closely with the Transformation Lead & PMO to ensure the overall scope and project is broken down into workable iterations that sit across many functions such as IT, networks, Data, Digital, Customer Operations. Experience of project management is a pre-requisite.What will I be doing?Creation and maintenance of the project delivery plan and RAID logOwning Initiative delivery meetings, which consists of a consolidated project view to be discussed with X-functional senior stakeholders.Managing all levels of personnel both internal and external in order to complete tasks.Communicating the progress and status of projects to the project sponsor / key stakeholders and other members of the project team.Managing project costs (capex and opex), ensuring appropriate governance and control, and adhering to the monthly financial reporting cycleEnsuring all project delivery documentation is accurately produced, appropriately stored and maintained throughout the life of the projectEnsuring the required level of support is in place following project handover, and all support documentation is complete before projects are closed out.To identify and make recommendations on resources required to ensure optimised implementation.To create and maintain a good working relationship with project sponsors and other senior managers and assist with the initiation and facilitation of solutions based on business need.To support and participate in the continual improvement in ways of working across the team and department, ensuring consistent and repeatable delivery (incl. governance)Breaking down silos and working in a more agile, X-functional construct.What do I need?Experience of delivery of a wide range of projects in both scale and outcomeExperience working with technical experts and third parties in order to build costed technical roadmapsStrong Project financial management, including actuals and forecastingAble to lead multi-functional teams to successfully complete assignmentsExperience of working with different project delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Planned Iterative etc.Excellent understanding of change control, configuration processes, as well as risk management techniquesProject Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certificationKnowledge or certification of Scaled AgileAdditional qualifications not required, but will be evaluated based on relevant and meritExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to engage at all levels of the businessQuick and flexible learner, with an aptitude for new processes, technologies and proceduresExcellent negotiator, creative thinker, problem solver, self-starterA commitment to ongoing personal development Additional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
