Your new role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights) across a busy production facility. You will be required toplete pre-planned maintenance in accordance with schedules and CMMS system,plete daily engineering work reports and record using the CMMS system as well as support the operations teams in increasing efficiency. You will accurately record any downtime and Root Cause Analysis detail and implement any findings to prevent repeat issues. Working closely with your colleagues you will actively identify areas of improvement, implementing best practice and drive cost-saving opportunities wherever possible.
What you'll need to succeed
You will havepleted an Engineering apprenticeship or hold equivalent qualifications with relevant experience. You will have gained experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, have strong fault-finding skills coupled with a strong electrical and mechanical ability. You will have strong working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and a good understanding of health & safety.
What you'll get in return
A starting salary of £50,000 with full training and meeting criteria salary can increase to £56k, overtime available as required,pany discount schemes, staff sales, subsidised canteen and free parking.
