Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker Location: Bradford Setting: 3-Bed Children’s Residential Home (EBD) – Ofsted Rated GOOD Salary: Up to £15.65 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications) Shift Pattern: 2 days on / 4 days off Job Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join a well-established 3-bed children’s residential home in Bradford, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The home is Ofsted rated GOOD and provides a supportive environment focused on stability, development, and positive outcomes for the young people in care. This role is ideal for a confident and experienced professional who is comfortable leading shifts, supporting staff, and maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding. Key Responsibilities: Support children and young people with EBD in a residential setting. Lead shifts and provide guidance to support staff when required. Promote a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and daily reporting. Support young people in developing life skills, education engagement, and positive routines. Ensure safeguarding policies and Ofsted standards are consistently met. Requirements: Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare (minimum). Previous experience working with children with EBD in a residential setting. Experience leading shifts or supervising staff within a children’s home. Strong understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations.
