Overview
In this role, you'll work with partners and colleagues to bring learners onto the programme and support them on their journey into employment. You'll manage a caseload, creating and reviewing personalised plans that help individuals overcome barriers, build skills, and access the right training. From writing CVs and completing application forms to preparing for interviews, you'll provide practical support every step of the way. Your goal will be to engage learners, open up opportunities, and help them secure sustainable employment. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us on a full-time, fixed-term contract for the duration of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload, creating and reviewing personalised plans that help individuals overcome barriers, build skills, and access the right training.
* Provide practical support from writing CVs and completing application forms to preparing for interviews, ensuring learners can progress toward employment.
* Engage learners, open up opportunities, and help them secure sustainable employment.
Qualifications
* Experience of working with young people and adults in a work-based setting, with the enthusiasm and commitment to support learners in achieving their goals and moving into sustainable employment.
* Experience of supporting learners with a learning difficulty or disability, ideally within education or employment.
* Ability to deliver training, track progress, and put together supportive, personalised learning plans that make a difference.
* An understanding of systematic instruction and supported internships would be helpful.
* Ability to build strong, positive relationships with employers, partners and colleagues, and strong, clear communication skills with a genuine passion for helping learners succeed.
