Requirements Recent and relevant experience of working with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.
Holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare Knowledge of child development, to ensure records and observations are up to date.
Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to childcare settings.
Good written and verbal skills with adults and children SEN Experience Key Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
Regularly assess and record childrens progress, collaborating with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic understanding of each childs development.
Tailor your approach to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
Lead a team of dedicated nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support in delivering high-quality childcare and educational experiences.
Supporting/ training new staff/ students explaining the expectations of the room.
Ensure all children requiring extra support such as targets are completed by yourself or your team.
These are to be checked by you daily to ensure ongoing support.
Monitor and maintain the well-being of each child, promptly addressing any health concerns and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging open communication and shared commitment to the nurserys mission and values.
Complete necessary paperwork, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the overall administrative responsibilities of the nursery.
Attend room leaders meetings and take advice on board.
Establish strong partnerships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their childs progress and addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism.
